End ASUP strike

The idle mind, they say, is the devil’s workshop, for more than six months now polytechnic students across the country have been on strike without any effort made by the relevant authorities especially the Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike, to resolve the crisis precipitating the long-drawn strike. In this time of insecurity in Nigeria, students should not be allowed to be at home so that they cannot be easy tolls in the hands of insurgents. I wish to appeal to the President to show similar zeal he displayed when members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities were on strike and settle this strike by their polytechnic counterparts once and for all so that our children can go back to school. God bless Nigeria.
